Spirit Trail 05:10
Spirit Trail –The Way of the Spirit Trail The road before you stretches Dark with noises in the night. Walk the road to know the road, In the shadows find the light. It’s the way of the Spirit trail. Each of us is given Longing from within; A voice of recognition, “This is where I begin!” It’s the way of the Spirit trail. Ours by hours, we travel the way. The omens are present for to see and not say, It’s the way of the Spirit trail. Follow you the feathers Of your ancestor’s delight, They offer quiet guidance Towards your soul’s own soaring flight. It’s the way of the Spirit trail. Trust in your existence, The strength within your soul. The truth is in your action, Let the mystery unfold. It’s the way of the Spirit trail. Ours by hours, we travel the way. The omens are present, for to see and not say, It’s the way of the Spirit trail. Bring your vessel to the well, Baptized in Be Here Now. Shake yourself, break yourself, Save yourself somehow. It’s the way of the Spirit trail. The valley of existence Carves deep into your soul; Wake yourself within its walls, The water always knows. It’s the way of the Spirit trail Ours by hours, we travel the way. The omens are present, for to see and not say, It’s the way of the Spirit trail. [© 2014 The Copoetics]

Here, Hear! 03:44
Here, Hear! - Finding the Four, The Way of the Spirit Trail Here in the moments lost easy in the mind, Hear the song of life around you Grow freely, in kind. Find the fall, Frame the focus, Sound the call, Join the motion onward! Seeking ways with hunger feeds nothing but time; See the breath of life around you, Right now, it's here. Find the fall, Frame the focus, Sound the call, Join the motion onward! Once upon a time we did know That to get what we want we must sew; With thread and with seed, manifesting our need, Weave together, supporting what grows. (x2) Fear not the answer; open, enter, find the way; Feel the peace of life around you, Strength of being, take the day. Find the fall, Frame the focus, Sound the call, Join the motion onward! Be You 05:23
Be You–The Way of the Spirit Trail Look outside and see the world! It’s full of so many things to find and to learn about. We are here for only a short time, So take a look around and around you. Go outside and walk around! Touch the world with your hands and the hearts that you meet there. We have gifts to share and to grow with, So go on, be happy, be you! Take my hand! We are not alone. Take my hand! We are not alone. Be outside and listen close, Birds will sing and the toad will croak a song of life. They are here to teach and to guide you, So feel the dance of the music around you. Take my hand! We are not alone. Take my hand! We are not alone. Go outside and walk around! Touch the world with your hands and the hearts that you meet there. We have gifts to share and to grow with, So go on, be happy be you! [© 2014 The Copoetics]

Dog in Fall 04:19
Dog in Fall - The Way of the Spirit Trail It creeps in sneaky, like an alley cat Sell for 4K, then leave where you sat Colors washed in crepuscular light Readjustment of common sight. Around every corner, Paradise waits For all to let go and swim for the bait; Fall crisply onto bended knee, Sacrifice for the strength of trees. Come now, taste from the cup of clay Filled with nothing but the juice of days; Gone by, gone forth, here now anew Onward and upward the blue wings flew! Stitch your movements to feeling within, The coils and curves of the northern wind; Taste not bitter, but settle for sweet, Make music calmly with forward feet. Graceful leaves float in peace to the ground Turn an ear, hear freedom in sounds; Fall gently, imagination holds, Bonds built on the brilliance of bold. Come now, taste from the cup of clay Filled with nothing but the juice of days; Gone by, gone forth, here now anew Onward and upward the blue wings flew! (x2) It creeps in sneaky, like an alley cat Sell for 4K, then leave where you sat Colors washed in crepuscular light Readjustment of common sight. Around every corner, Paradise waits For all to let go and swim for the bait; Fall crisply onto bended knee, Sacrifice for the strength of trees. [© 2014 The Copoetics]

Job's Tears-pt. 1 - Finding the Four, The Way of the Spirit Trail Goel, goel, may these tears redeem me. Fortune falling, Kneel beneath me, Respond to my cries! Friends forsake me, make me anger with words; What do you say? Say what you mean! I, too, mean to tell. Goel, goel, may these tears redeem me. Goel, goel, take me, use me, just free me! --- Goel, goel, may these tears redeem me. I'm not to blame, I need my name, What shame now I know. You took all I had, I carry no more, My worth now is gone. What do you say? Say what you mean! I, too, mean to tell. Goel, goel, may these tears redeem me. Goel, goel, take me, use me, just free me! --- Wonder at the day, will it go away, what is all this for?... Why oh, why oh?! Take away my wealth, challenging my health, no more need for hope... Why oh, why oh?! You who stand so near, grinning ear to ear, oh so quick to judge!... Why oh, why oh?! Rivers running dry, people left to die, how much do we know?... Why oh, why oh?! --- Goel, goel, may these tears redeem me. Defeated I lie, Leave me to die, The salt of my tears cares to dry. You give no hope, hope no more lives, There's nothing left for me. What do you say? Say what you mean! I, too, mean to tell. Goel, goel, may these tears redeem me. Goel, goel, take me, use me, just free me! [© 2013 The Copoetics]

Job’s Tears-pt. 2- The Way of the Spirit Trail Shut up and listen! Shut up and listen! Shut up and listen, now. So much wasted in vain with a pointing finger. One pointed away mean three say it’s you, The one who did it, The one who does it, The one who’s doing, over and over, over and over, over and over… Blame again, it’s you, blame again, it’s you, One must see clearly this comes from fearing, I am no good. I am not well. You know this, too, and you will go tell…everyone. Break the shields that bind you, Take what you see and know this is only what you see, Nothing more, nothing less, it is what it is; No good or bad, nor right, nor wrong, All exists as it needs to be. Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Now, hush. Your worries hold you, control illusion, your worries hold you, control illusion; Got to have this way, got to be this way, got to think this way, got to fear this way, Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Give what you have to this present moment, There you will find not what you were looking for. This is the beauty of letting go out of love, I will love I will, I will love I will…not linger on. Break the shields that bind you, Take what you see and know this is only what you see, Nothing more, nothing less, it is what it is; No good or bad, nor right, nor wrong, All exists as it needs to be. Come and listen. Come and listen with your ears and your heart… No longer question, let go of illusion, Without the “why?!” there goes confusion; Opens the way, take on the flow, Master the mind; it’s not what you know That gives you the strength to live and to be, This comes from learning how to feel free! Breathe deep, sink down, breathe deep, sink down, Lose all your worry, needing to know, Trust in your Self, embracing the flow As rivers weave and grasses sway, So you can choose to dance on with days; People to people, tribe to tribe, Being to being, we are alive! Break the shields that bind you, Take what you see and know this is only what you see, Nothing more, nothing less, it is what it is; No good or bad, nor right, nor wrong, All exists as it needs to be. 7 Directions 05:13
7 Directions –The Way of the Spirit Trail I look in 7 directions, To the left I see desert dry, but warm, Begging to be watered By my mystique and charm, In exchange for protection from the storm. I look in 7 ways, To my right I feel right on the dampest days, Colored is my life Fed by these rains; Rinsed clean from the pain, but grief remains. I look in 7 directions, Up, up away I go To the chill my bones can stand; Warmth from within, the land. Running through the birch, the pine, my friends. I look in 7 ways, At my feet the earth, She holds, Keeping true the giving, To no one She belongs. Rooted in Her glory, here we stand. Look behind and see, what’s been gives what’s to be. Facing forward, feel the pull, to push beyond, fight the lull! Front to back, the center stays, in the moment, now’s the way. Front to back, the center stays, in the moment, now’s the way. We look in 7 directions, Within we find the only way, To follow each our Red Road, Together we must be; To say yes to life, to love, to free. To say yes to life, to love, to free. It Rolls On 02:59
It Rolls On –Finding the Four, The Way of the Spirit Trail Awaken the song, bright on the cusp of trails endearing, weave reckless to clearing. Sweet movements of fancy caught bridged in divine, root elsewhere in search, search fearless, send forth. Take the hold strong! Course into flat grasses, Roll pleasantly onward, Full circle in time. Cling now to the branches, be carried away Mysteries churning, sense all you can feel. Open the way, move forward, but pause: Take hold of the soul, pure water run free! Take the hold strong! Course into flat grasses, Roll pleasantly onward, Full circle in time. Sway sweetly throughout, gather and share Webs woven when greeting, leave not the heart bleeding. Find reason midst all, succumb to the path; Accept now the way, step lightly, dance on! Take the hold strong! Course into flat grasses, Roll pleasantly onward, Full circle in time. Hymn Jesi 04:07
Hymn Jesi –The Way of the Spirit Trail For unto us the path is clear, Abundance in the loss of fear, Saved by none but Self alone, Spirit at best when pride has flown. Take refuge in silence, be, Sensations set us free! Follow through with soul advancing, Find your island within this sea. When truth is nowhere to be found, Acceptance calls towards fullest sound, Taking all as it may come, Faith in the beat of life’s own drum. Take refuge in silence, be, Sensations set us free! Follow through with soul advancing, Find your island within this sea. We suffer not without a way, This brings me to you day by day; Here we met, Compassion rests, Living freely this can be our breaths. Take refuge in silence, be, Sensations set us free! Follow through with soul advancing, Find your island within this sea. [© 2014 The Copoetics]

Sing Me Your Song –The Way of the Spirit Trail Quiet comes out of nights strumming softly, Build to a calling out. If it was up to me we’d be more free, Singing what it’s truly about. Sing me your song! (x4) For the ones who believe, And for those just beginning To know we are here To sing in harmony! Sing me your song! (x4) Strength in the rhythm of Presence pouring outward, Surround us with the vibration Of a thousand suns of freedom. Sing me your song! (x4) Don’t sit there whisperin’ in the woods wonderin’ if you could, Come out and sing me your song! Why bother meddlin’ in the mud thinkin’ you’re a dud, Come out and sing me your song! Even the cackle of the crow will let you know If you’ve come too near or if there is something to fear. Deep within your primordial bowels Are rhythmic roots and melodic howls. (x2) The song you sing, The strength it brings; Use the tools Creator has given To bring you peace, So you can share The song of loving your living. Sing me your song! Won’t you sing me your song? about

The Copoetics

Music is the vehicle that moves us onward, driving us to honor the language it has etched into the eaves of our souls. From music we learn that it is in giving we receive; thus, we give ourselves to the music of our souls and to opening the pathways between the souls of us all. We meet as our own unique poets, creating an entirely new poem, Copoetics of this life, this living, this love. ... more
